About Catríona Reid
I am artist and art teacher based in the West Coast of Scotland. I work in Ink and Oil to describe wee moments of awe. I paint the portraits of living trees and situate them in a landscape formed from memories of the changing Scottish light and scenes.
I aim to portray the dynamic balance between movement and stability, both in our landscape and in human connections, from the intimate to fleeting interactions.
